Many manufacturing facilities will have their own warehouses to stock inventories prior to shipping. In fact, stepping into a warehouse could leave you amazed by the sheer size of the facility. People don’t realize that while properly storing and protecting the items against the elements are vital, the environment they’re in should be kept in top shape as well. The position of the city of Indianapolis as a manufacturing hub in the Midwest makes it a good place to have a warehouse within the same complex, or self-contained buildings that double as self-storage facilities. When your own warehouse requires thorough cleaning to better protect the goods stored inside it and to convey a sense of order on the floor, entrust the task to a team of skilled commercial cleaning professionals from companies like Executive Image.

Some health threats in a commercial office may be hiding in plain sight and may affect your employees’ well-being in the long run. Eliminating such hazards can be done if you have a special professional cleaning solution in place. Writing for Health Day, Chris Woolston said that keeping the work environment clean can prevent untold costs in lost productivity. The danger of lost productivity due to poor environmental conditions in the workplace does give business operators in Indianapolis and other places much to think about. The city has a highly conducive business climate for recognized firms and startups, and a poorly maintained business building or establishment can even result in losing clients/customers. When you need to keep the place in pristine condition and your workers’ health at top level, office cleaning services provided by companies such as Executive Image can prove invaluable.

As a business proprietor, you want to ensure that your premises remain as attractive and welcoming as possible all day long. It is one of the first things people notice about your business—whether you endeavor to keep your environment clean and presentable or not, says a lot about the image you’re trying to portray to the public. Clients will not only look at the kind of products or services you offer them when deciding to do business with you. More often than not, they will most likely also check on how well you maintain your place of business and the general setting of your workplace. First impressions do count.

There are many contributing factors to a company’s success, and one of those is maintaining a clean and healthy office environment. In this regard, many companies resort to hiring professional cleaning services to take care of the job, instead of hiring an individual, full-time or part-time janitor. Still, such a task isn’t as easy it may seem: there’s literally hundreds, if not thousands, of service providers in or around Indianapolis. To narrow down your choices, you can take a few steps to put you on the right path. First and foremost, you can pinpoint a reliable prospect by asking for references. Ask yourself if your prospects have enough experience with commercial cleaning, and not residential cleaning alone. Asking for references helps ensure that you’re only working with experienced providers, and you’re always better off working with a firm that’s already tried and tested, such as Executive Image

Office sanitation is vital to the overall productivity of any business in Indianapolis. A clean office not only impresses visiting clients and employees, but also aids in lifting employee morale. A high quality perception of a clean office environment can contribute to a company’s bottom line profits. However, as most organizations are becoming involved in global environmental campaigns, the demand for eco-friendly commercial cleaning is also on the rise. Prevention Is Better than Cure Companies hire janitorial services to eliminate clutter and dirt left in their offices by daily operations. While this is usually the case, modern janitorial services are no longer confined to taking care of the office mess at the end of the work day.

Your office is the central nervous system of your business in Indianapolis. To ensure the continuity of your operation, you have to eliminate anything that can slow down, or worse, interrupt your work. One of these is dirt. If left unattended, garbage and dust can cause issues with allergies, colds, and flu that will trickle down to your bottom line with lost productivity with staff. While dirt can be anywhere in your office, there are areas where it collects and can impact your business the most, like desktops, key boards, and door handles. Desk and Tables It should not come as a surprise that desk and table tops are among the dirtiest surfaces in your office. After all, this is where you and your employees work and store your personal belongings. Chances are that trivial traces of dirt and germs you carried from the outside or from your body will be transferred on these surfaces, making it a breeding ground for bacteria.

Did you know that there is such a thing called Sick Building Syndrome? Sick building syndrome is the name that some medical experts attribute to multiple people in the same building showing similar symptoms of headache, fatigue, nausea, diarrhea, sneezing, itching, sore throat or other sickly conditions. Experts still argue whether there really is such a thing as sick building syndrome, but if one thing is certain it’s that there have been multiple reported cases of people getting sick in the same building or office at the same time. Some experts explain this phenomena as an undefined chemical agent that goes around in the air inside an enclosed space and affects the people living or working inside. Others, however, explain it away to poor sanitation due to lack of proper commercial cleaning in Indianapolis offices and high-traffic areas in the buildings. Both parties, however, agree that the syndrome is not new, although the source is still being debated.
